Anti-P, spray against lice 50 ml

Description: transparent, reddish-brown liquid, with a characteristic smell. During storage, slight precipitation is allowed.

Composition for a 50 ml bottle:

Veratrum, rhizomes with roots - 3.5 g

Fir oil - 0.0125 g

Birch tar - 0.002 g

Diluted ethyl alcohol 70% - up to 50 ml

Veratrum rhizomes and roots contain up to 1% alkaloids (veratrine, protoveratrine, yervine, pseudoervine, germinaline, veralosine, veratroyl-zygadenine, etc.), glycosides, triterpenoids, amino acids, resins, sugars, mineral salts, tannins and dyes, mucus.

The head louse is a typical stationary ectoparasite of the human scalp, belongs to the genus Pediculus, species Pediculus capitis De Geer.

The pubic louse belongs to the genus Phthirus, the species Phthirus pubis L and lays eggs in the pubic hairline, less often in the area of the eyebrows, eyelashes, beard, abdomen, chest.

The active biological substances of rhizomes with veratrum roots have a pediculicidal and ovicidal effect (causing the death of lice), fir oil has an anti-inflammatory effect on the scalp, and birch tar has an antiseptic, antipruritic and softening effect on the skin.

Indications for use:

It is used for head and pubic lice (phthiriasis).

Method of administration and dosage:
On the outside. For head lice, it should be rubbed undiluted into the scalp, focusing on the roots. The consumption rate of the preparation, depending on the degree of infestation, the length and thickness of the hair, is 20-50 ml, the exposure time is 20-30 minutes.

After the treatment, the hair should be washed with shampoo and rinsed with a warm solution of 5-10% acetic acid.

The dead lice are combed with a fine comb on an oilcloth or paper, which are then burned. The comb should be rinsed well with hot water or rubbed with alcohol.

In case of insufficient ovicidal action, treatment with the drug must be repeated after 7-10 days.

With phthiriasis, the pubic and perineal hair is first shaved. Then the skin of the pubic area is treated with a drug solution, left for 30 minutes and then the drug is washed off with warm water and soap.
