Composition

Composition/bottle 25 ml: Hydroglycerin extract of chamomile flowers – 1.07 g, terbinafine hydrochloride – 0.25 g, D-panthenol – 0.0357 g;

Excipients: propylene glycol, macrogol-300, ethyl alcohol 96%, purified water, menthol.

What is TERBIFUNGIN 1%, spray and for what purposes is it used?

"TERBIFUNGIN 1%" spray is a specially developed formula for treating the nail plate and skin. Enriched with chamomile extract and D-panthenol to condition the skin. The action is based on the destruction of fungi that cause skin diseases.

"TERBIFUNGIN 1%" spray is recommended for:

- fungal infections of nails and skin;

- dermatophytosis of the scalp and hair, groin area and other areas of the skin.

Chamomile flower extract contains terpenoids (matricin and bisabolol), which have an anti-inflammatory and soothing effect on the skin, as well as linoleic acid, necessary for the normal functioning of cell membranes. It has antibacterial properties, reduces itching and softens the skin.

Terbinafine hydrochloride has an antifungal effect on dermatophytes (Trychophyton rubrum, Trychophyton mentagrophytes, Trychophyton verrucosum, Trychophyton violaceum, Trychophyton tonsurans, Microsporum canis, Epidermophyton floccosum), fungi (genus Candida albicans ) and some dimorphic fungi (Pityrosporum orbiculare). Active against yeast, has fungicidal and fungistatic effects, depending on the species. Terbinafine specifically affects the biosynthesis of fungal sterols at an early stage. Due to the inhibition of squalene epoxidase in the fungal cell membrane, it causes ergosterol deficiency and intracellular accumulation of squalene, which leads to the death of the fungal cell.

D-panthenol – promotes skin regeneration, restores the protective functions of the epidermis. Relieves irritation and has an anti-inflammatory effect.

How to use TERBIFUNGIN 1%, spray

Externally. Before use, thoroughly rinse and dry the affected area of skin; apply a sufficient amount of spray from a distance of 5-10 cm. After use, wash your hands thoroughly to prevent the spread of fungal infection to other parts of the body.

How to store TERBIFUNGIN 1%, spray

Store in a dry place, protected from light, at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.

Cautions

The drug is contraindicated in children under 3 years of age. Pregnant and lactating women, as well as people with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug, can use only on the advice of a doctor or pharmacist. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
